It's right outside of town on a very fast street, speed limit 75mph! But the sites aren't directly on the street and trees buffer a lot of the road noise.

There are two entrances, the main entrance and the C.A.R.E entrance. The main entrance is where you check in at the check-in building. Coming from town, it's the first entrance.

Rainbow's End RV Park is divided into two sections: the Rainbow Oaks section and the Rainbow's End section.

Each section offers a variety of site types and atmospheres to suit every type of RV.

Rainbow Oaks Section: The Newer Addition

The Rainbow Oaks section of the park is the newer addition and offers more standardized parking with scattered oak trees and larger sites.

This section includes a range of amenities, such as concrete sites, pull-thrus, restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, a dog park, and a pergola and grill for cookouts and relaxing.

All daily and weekly rates at Rainbow's End RV Park include 30-amp electric, with 50-amp service available for an additional $2 per day. Taxes are not included in the rates.

Other Offerings At Rainbow's End RV Park

Because this park is also Escapee's heaquarters, there are many other facilities on-site.

Here are some of the offerings that may be of interest.

Dog Park

There is a small fenced in dog park on the property. It's fully shaded, too.

Dump Station

If you aren't staying and just need a dump and fill, you can do that here as well for a small fee.

RVers Boot Camp

RVers boot camp is a three-day in-person training led by experienced instructors at Rainbow's End.

The curriculum covers everything from RV systems and maintenance to driving and propane safety.

You'll also be able to connect with fellow RVers and learn through interactive questions and social gatherings.

Tuition includes over 20 hours of training, a copy of "The RVer's Ultimate Survival Guide," and meals.

The training is available for both Escapees members and non-members. They also offer online RV education courses.

It's not a daily thing, so check with the park for dates.

SmartWeigh

RV maintenance and safety are important.

Something you might overlook but is CRUCIAL for safety is to ensure you're not overweight.

The Escapees SmartWeigh enhances the safety and overall success of the RV lifestyle by providing critical RV weight safety and load management information in an accurate and understandable way.

SmartWeigh utilizes high-quality portable scales, a level weighing site, and highly trained personnel to give you accurate individual wheel weights for your RV.

While these weights can't be used for vehicle title/registration, they can help you identify and resolve side-to-side balance and tire loading issues.

With SmartWeigh, you get personal attention throughout your appointment and an individual consultation following your weighing.

Once complete, your weighmaster discusses your results and suggestions for correcting overweight or imbalance issues.

When we visited, our friend Kirsty was doing this job. I jumped in to help her correctly measure how high this fifth wheel was.

So yes, they also measure the height of your rig.

C.A.R.E.

If you're older (slowing down) or have health/mobility issues but still want to RV, C.A.R.E. might be a good solution for your needs.

Escapees C.A.R.E. (Caring Affordable Respite Experience) is a unique independent living residency program located at Rainbow's End.

C.A.R.E. provides a safe haven and professional assistance to full-time RVers whose travels are impacted by age or health problems.

Founded in 1992 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Escapees CARE is guided by a volunteer board of directors and is dedicated to providing affordable respite care to RVers in need.

Independent Living In Your RV

The program helps you maintain your independence and quality of life while still living in your rig.

You also have access to on-site assistance with propane, holding tanks, and awnings, as well as help with site maintenance and dumping tanks.

But the services provided by Escapees CARE go beyond just RV basics.

You also receive two laundry loads washed and folded every week (three loads for couples) and can take a day off while somebody else does the housekeeping in your rig every other week.

Free transport to local medical services is also offered. You can take advantage of free local transport or 50 cents a mile over 50 miles.

Plus, there are weekly Walmart shopping trips and plenty of opportunities to socialize and have fun playing Bingo, Dominoes, Card Games, and Board Games.

Escapees CARE is not a nursing home but rather a place where you can receive professional help for the things you may no longer be able to do.

The goal is to delay or eliminate the need for a nursing home or assisted living.

Many residents have ramps leading up to their RV

The program schedules medical appointments for most of its residents and provides transportation to and from the appointments for those who no longer drive.

There’s even a nurse on duty eight hours during the business day for the Respite Program.

Escapees CARE also provides a secure day room with trained staff to provide monitoring, games, exercise, and much more.

RV With Community

And perhaps most importantly, Escapees CARE (and the park in general) has a community feel. It’s like being with family and friends.

Escapees CARE is able to provide its services at very affordable rates due to the generosity of Escapees Club members through their monetary donations and volunteering.

So, if you’re a full-time RVer looking for a safe and affordable way to maintain your independence and quality of life, this is it.

Mail Service

You can have your mail delivered while staying at this park.

Not only that, but Rainbow's End is home to the country's oldest, largest, and most flexible private mail forwarding service.

I dedicated myself to living the full-time RV life for over 6.5 years, immersing myself in the unique quirks and joys of the boondocking lifestyle and gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience along the way. In December 2020, my business partner and I made the transition to part-time RVing, but in January 2023, we hit the road once again, this time in our trusty vans. My mission is to help others embrace the RVing lifestyle with confidence and excitement, armed with the knowledge and resources needed to make the most of their adventures.
